Last Wednesday we got the chance to travel all the way to Basel to attend the official press day at Baselworld (which is one of the biggest watch fairs in the entire world, featuring all the best brands and a pretty glam atmosphere as well ;)) We were invited by the lovely Swarovski team and we had a wonderful time! As you'll see at the end of the post we got the chance to meet Nathalie Colin herself - she's the creative director for Swarovski jewelry so this was pretty big! Jewelry designer Shourouk was also there (I'm sure you've all seen her beautiful creations already) and it was really an honor for us to meet these two adorable and super inspiring women.

They told us everything about both Swarovski and Shourouk, how the designs are made, what the creation process is like, and of course we also got to see the latest watches they've created. As you may know, Shourouk's creations are made with Swarovski stones and she also teamed up with the brand to create an incredible watch (that we got to see but cannot reveal until its launch, planned for next September... believe me, it's worth the wait ;))

After this little presentation we all headed to a super nice restaurant in the city centre and enjoyed a delicious dinner - it was a beautiful day and we're really happy we got to be part of it. As for my outfit, I tried to create a business casual kind of thing, with the key piece being this new coat I found at COS. I love how it's a crossing between a blazer and a coat, so special right? I hope you guys will enjoy these few pictures and I'll see you soon with more about Baselworld as we'll be back there this weekend ;) Much love til then!
