If the shoe fits

Clogs are such a big deal, aren't they? It's either you love them, or you hate them (but sometimes it's actually both at the same time right?!)

They're like these rustic take on traditional, feminine mules. I didn't really get caught by the whole mule trend this past summer, somehow I'm always kind of driven away by these trends that get super global in the blogosphere - everyone has them, everyone wears them and then a month later, bang, they're gone.

For some reason though, I fell in love with these very chunky clogs. They're part of Free People's new shoe collection and in my opinion they are perfect statement shoes for fall! Mule-inspired but with a definite bucolic twist, don't you think?
