Hey guys. It's been a while!

I wrote an article with Lindt last week and it got me thinking about how I hadn't posted for so long. Writing this text made me miss blogging and I thought it was about time I shared a little explanation with you.

I took some time off social media and the online world over the summer. When we went to Sardinia I switched off almost completely, stopped scrolling down my Instagram all the time, stopped looking at stories, stopped watching YouTube. I did post a few images here and there but that was it - and I guess my absence on here was a result of this little detox I went on as well.

I felt a lack of inspiration, I wasn't driven anymore, I didn't feel like writing or taking pictures.. Lately I have been questioning social media a lot, even though I think it has done wonders to the world and helped a LOT of people, especially within minorities, there is also no denying that the rise of social media has been hurting many. You find yourself looking at pictures of others on vacation, shopping, or eating out all the time and it's all fun and games until you realize you've been comparing yourself to them, and feeling bad about your own life. It's something that I have been thinking about quite a lot - how I portray myself and my life online, and how it makes others feel. I've been thinking about my purpose, my message, and feeling a bit pointless at times, because at the end of the day I don't really see what it brings to anyone's life to see what I've bought lately, what my home looks like or what I was wearing on my last trip.

So yeah.. Lots of thoughts about what I create and why, which led me, after lots of healing and a very inspiring summer, to come back here, writing again. I want to switch things up a little bit though. No more, or very few shallow "outfit posts", less posts overall but more inspiration, more creativity, more stuff that you can take away and add to your own life. Hope it makes sense and above all, that you will enjoy it : ) either way I know I will, and I am looking forward to this new chapter.

I've also been working on a few top secret projects lately (don't you hate it when bloggers say that), can't reveal anything yet but it's something crazy cool that will hopefully come out soon.
